ATEX Auditing, Consulting and Training

European specialist and ATEX training organization certified QUALIOPI, we deploy a complete range of support services to transform regulatory constraints into a lever for sustainable safety.

Our ATEX audit services

Technical audits are the cornerstone of your prevention policy. In a constantly evolving industrial environment (process changes, new chemicals, machine wear), the expert's eye can detect deviations before they become critical. Our auditors, certified by INERIS, work directly on your sites for a 360° analysis.

  • Workplace risk assessment: We analyze the layout of your buildings and traffic flow to prevent dangerous interactions between a risk zone and a potential ignition source.
  • Risk assessment of facilities: your equipment, whether fixed or mobile, undergoes rigorous examination. We check the integrity of explosion-proof casings, the condition of wiring, and the compliance of safety systems.
  • Explosion hazard zone classification: regulations require precise mapping. We help you define and demarcate zones 0, 1, 2 (for gases) and 20, 21, and 22 (for dusts). Optimized zone classification often results in reduced equipment costs by avoiding over-specification for safety.
  • Continuous compliance audit: Maintenance is the weak point of many facilities. We audit your maintenance logs and the actual condition of your equipment to ensure the initial safety level is maintained.

Our ATEX training courses

Our training courses are not just theoretical. Indeed, they are delivered by experts who design and repair machines daily. As an accredited and registered organization under number 84380845438, we prepare your teams for Ism-ATEX certification, the INERIS standard which is the authority in the industry.

Ism-ATEX Level 2 E-M training

This module is intended for maintenance technicians who work on ATEX-certified industrial vehicles, including forklift trucks. Whether it's initial training (4 days) or retraining (3 days), the objective is to train Authorized Persons capable of ensuring the traceability and safety of interventions.
The targeted skills are concrete: welcoming site supervisors, choosing appropriate tools for the area, and mastering specific protection techniques for Ex equipment. Trainees benefit from unique access to our transformation workshop. This allows them to handle “nR” test boxes, adjust butterfly dampers, and inspect joint plans on explosion-proof enclosures.

When to use ATEX training or an ATEX audit?

An audit is recommended whenever there is a substantial change to your processes or facilities. It is also a wise precaution when acquiring a fleet of used machinery. Training is a regulatory requirement under the Labor Code for all personnel working in Ex zones. It must be completed before anyone begins working on sensitive equipment.

The cost depends on the chosen format: INTER (at our Chasse-sur-Rhône centers) or INTRA (directly at your industrial site). The price includes access to technical facilities, electronic educational materials, and examination fees for INERIS certification. For a group of technicians, the INTRA training is often the most economical and best-suited solution for your field realities.

The certificate of competence issued upon completion of the Ism-ATEX Level 2 E-M training is valid for 3 years. To maintain accreditation, the technician must attend a refresher course before the expiration date. This renewal ensures that the «Rules of the Trade» and the evolutions of European standards are perfectly mastered.
